What a remap does for a diesel Fiat Marea
Nothing is bolted on in a diesel remap. The ECU's stored maps for injection quantity, rail pressure and turbo boost are rewritten within safe limits, and because diesels make power through torque, that is where the improvement is most obvious.
How the Fiat Marea 2.4 TD 124 compares
Among the 4 diesel Marea engines we have figures for, the 2.4 TD 124 ranks 3rd for power gain, 2 bhp below the Marea diesel average of 35 bhp.
